Burgers & Bowls

A friendly club competition known as the “Burgers & Bowls” took place on Sunday June 19th, the final day of spring. Skies were clear, winds light, and temps ideal.

The event was managed by Rod Armitage, assisted by a cohort of members who did an excellent job. Our bowls could be as cantankerous as ever but the burgers and smokies cooked up by Jack Coupe, Garry Anderson and Jim Cliff made for a tasty end to the event. Well done and thank you to everyone who contributed to the day’s success.

Finishing in first place, perhaps now known as the Burgermeisters was the team of Jack Coupe, Kay Alexander and Frieda Mountain. Well done! Numerous other prizes were awarded throughout the day.
