Updated May 5, 2017 describing new format for Campbell Cup.

Our club runs a men’s pairs league and a women’s pairs league throughout the summer season.

The men compete every Tuesday morning for the Carnarvon Cup, and the women compete every Friday morning for the Campbell Cup.

Novices are most welcome to join. Because the pairings are at random, they can often do quite well in the league just by showing up every week!

Tags in at 9:15 a.m. for both leagues. There is no obligation to attend each week.

There is an entry fee for each league, which is redistributed as prizes to the top players at the end of the season.

This friendly season-long pairs competition is open to all women bowlers who are club members.

The games are played every Friday morning. Arrive by 9:15 a.m. for play commencing at 9:30 a.m.

Format is drop-in women’s pairs with teams drawn randomly.

Instead of individual awards with prize money at end of season, this year there will be small individual prizes, which will be presented each Friday during post-game refreshments.

The first game of 2017 will be played Friday, May 12, then weekly thereafter until September 1.
