The Burnside Lawn Bowling Club did a wonderful job of hosting this three day event during the last week of May. There were 30 teams split into an afternoon and evening draw. The event was played over 3 days with 18 ends per day. Most games were very close. Prizes were awarded to 3 teams who won all three of their games. Prizes were also given to a two game winner and one game winner from each draw with the highest point totals. Brent Jansen and Ann Mathie got top one game winner for the afternoon draw, while Ian and Diane McMorran were the one game winners for the evening draw. Several other Oak Bay members also participated in the tournament including Brent Merchant, Susi Merchant, JudyArsenault and Karen Heagle.
