For the past two years, there’s been five people from Victoria driving up to Qualicum Beach to play in a 10 session 20 game premier league indoor full length facility, same size as the outdoor Lawnbowling greens. There are only two such facilities in Canada, one in Vancouver and one in Qualicum Beach. These greens are very fast-paced playing at 17 seconds and outdoor green is typically 11 to 14 seconds Depending on the time of year. Brent Jansen and Gopala Gowda came in first and second place as well as David Gardner ghlbc coming in fourth place. I recommend if people have the time and can make the effort to drive up to Qualicum and give the indoor a try next year as the club is very welcoming. A small fee may be charged for drop in session.
