Oak Bay hosted nine other Victoria area clubs for the President’s Cup. This annual tournament rotates between clubs and features members of each club’s executive competing for the honour of having the President’s Cup in their clubhouse for the year. It is the kick off to the BSI tournament schedule.

Battling through the unseasonably warm conditions, it was Gordon Head that prevailed after three twelve end games.   Central Saanich finished runner up and Canadian Pacific third.  Oak Bay was valiantly represented by Lauren Charlton, and Michael Perry for all three games with Susan Buss, Lorne Cowley and Kory Swain each pitching in for a single game apiece.  Enthusiastic Oak Bay supporters were there to cheer on the many impressive shots by our squad.

A delicious lunch of smokies and potato salad was put on by Brent and Garry that had rave reviews.  Earlier at the first break some amazing goodies baked by Susi and Pat were gobbled up.  Many thanks to these four who kept our guests satisfied with their culinary skills.
