Barry Skinner tournament played at Burnside Lawnbowling Club starting may30 th for three consecutive days one game a day, two flights one in the afternoon one in the evening. The weather held out for all of the three days. There were seasoned bowlers as well as new bowlers in both flights. The draw was a Ontario draw winners play winners, losers play losers. In each flight there is a one game winner two game winner three game winner and combined both flights one overall winner awarded the trophy. Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club won the trophy with Brent Jansen skip and Karen Evans lead. Karen played exceptionally well on the front end while Brent as skip was able to make the required shots when necessary. Brent Merchant and Lee Miller in the first flight afternoon draw was the high two game winner. Losing out as 3 game winner by only one point coming down to the last shot. Way to go Oak Bay.
