The Ladies League Campbell Cup wrapped up on Sept. 2nd, after 17 weeks of play. The ladies gathered at the club every Friday morning for Scotch Pairs competition. Pairings were done at random. We were lucky with the weather this year and never missed a day of play.
A wrap-up luncheon was held on Sept. 9th, with the awarding of prizes. Results were as follows:
1st – Marcia Thorneycroft
2nd – Fern Price
3rd – Linda Cowie
Novice winners were:
1st – Lizzie Fraikin & Carol Murphy (tied) who were not present at the luncheon.
