Finding a day to clean the carpet at Carnarvon House was not easy with the calendar being so busy throughout the year.
Taking advantage of one of least busy days in the Carnarvon House activity calendar the date of April 1st was selected.
The Canasta group that was scheduled to play at 1:00 kindly agreed to cancel the game to allow the cleaning to proceed. Thank you Canasta players!
One of you showed up and was surprised by the schedule change. We are sorry for your disappointment .
David Anderson, Brent Merchant and a jet-lagged Doug Francis were joined by Lauren Charlton to move furniture. Vacuuming followed and then the carpet cleaning began.
Using two rented machines the job was completed by 1:00; a short three and a half hours after the process started.
Thanks to Brent and Lorne Cowley for bringing fans to help with the drying process.
Anderson House carpet will be cleaned when a window of opportunity comes available.
