    You have the option of paying the dinner either online, by cheque or in cash.

    Immediately after completing this form, please complete the online banking payment or make out the cheque to the club.

  • You have the option of paying online via Interac e-Transfer, by cheque, or in cash. Online payments are preferred since they reduce administration effort. Make your choice below.

  • Interac e-Transfer payment advice

    To pay via Interac e-Transfer you must be an online banking customer of a Canadian financial institution. If you are not a user of online banking, you will have to pay by cheque. Interac e-Transfer is part of the secure Interac system that includes debit cards and ATM transactions for all major Canadian financial institutions

    As an online banking customer, you will be able to log on to your bank and make a payment using the Interac e-Transfer system. (You may need to add your e-mail address to your account information, if you have not already done so.) The sender (you) is charged for the service; the recipient (the club) pays nothing. Your account will be charged up to $1.50, or possibly nothing at all, depending on your financial institution and the type of banking package you have. (Two of the “Big 5” Canadian banks do not charge for e-Transfers.)

    1. Send your payment to obfunds@shaw.ca with the answer to the security question as shown below.
    2. Include your full name in the transmission message. (This is especially important if your e-mail ID does not reveal your name.)
    3. For your security question, pick a question that has today’s one-word answer. (See immediately below.)

    Today’s security response is the eight-letter word.

    Holidays

    Interac e-Transfer responses are not “case-sensitive”; the word can be in either capitals or lower-case letters.

    So your security question will be something like, “What is the purpose of this money transfer (one word)?”, or briefly “Purpose?” (Actually, your question can be anything you like, provided that the answer is as specified above.)

    As soon as you have completed and submitted this form, please log on to your online bank account with a Canadian financial institution and make your Interac e-Transfer payment to the club, sending to the e-mail ID:

  • Cheque payment advice

    If mailing the cheque, address the envelope to: Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club, 2190 Harlow Drive, Victoria, BC V8R 3J1 Attn: Treasurer

    If bringing the cheque to the club, put your envelope in the mail folder in Carnarvon House, under ‘S’ (for Sidel.) Mark the envelope “Attn: Treasurer”.

    Write “OBLBC Christmas Dinner” in the Memo field on your cheque.

  • Christmas Dinner Reservation Submission

    Now click on the green SUBMIT button below.

    If you do not receive an immediate confirmation message “Thank you. Your reservation has been received…” (in blue lettering) after you submit the reservation form, then you have NOT successfully submitted your resrvation record.

    If there is no confirmation message, scroll back to the top of the form; you will see you have an error message, “There was a problem with your submission . . .” . Check to see which fields on the form you have not completed. (Incomplete fields are highlighted in pink.) Fill in the missing data, then click on SUBMIT again.

    In addition to the immediate “Thank you . . .” confirmation message, within minutes you will receive an e-mail showing your complete donation commitment as submitted. (if you don’t receive an e-mail, check your Junk Mail folder; your service provider may have directed it there.)

    Please check your input, as shown in the e-mail, to make sure that it is accurate. If you need to make changes, log on to the online form again. Almost all of the previous information from your latest entry will appear; you need only make the changes that you want, then resubmit.
