Notes on Measuring for Umpires
The nine pages of notes shown below were copied from a document prepared in 1999 by the late Bob Akins, an umpire and long-time member of the Oak Bay club. Bob was a surveyor by profession and naturally interested in precise measurement. He bowled into his nineties!
Faith Magwood found the document in 2018 and has given it to the club. It is shown online here for easy reference.
