So proud to debut our new club shirt at the 2024 Australian Open with my partner, Ann Faulkner (Queenslander). I had excellent comments from lots of people saying our new club shirt looks “bright, vibrant, and looks a “treat” (Aussie slang for “looks very good”).

Lost the first game against a pair from the Kallangur Bowls Club (Queensland).

The second game was against a pair from Southport Bowls Club, where we played. Home ground to the women who I know for a few years … no excuse, but only lost by four (13-17). That was a great game.

Lost the third game against the pairs from South Australia (the skip was a great bowler).

Tough competition, but heck of an experience on fast greens!
