Dogwood BSI Mixed Pairs at Vic West – Tournament Recap

The Dogwood Mixed Pairs tournament was held at Vic West during the evenings of July 6th, 7th, and 8th. 

Format:

•  Nights 1 & 2: 32 teams competed across two time slots, with each team playing two 10-end games per night.

•  Night 3 – Finals: The top four teams from each flight advanced to the crossover finals. The first 10-end game narrowed the field from eight teams to four. Then two fast-paced 3-end games determined the winners. These final games were quick and competitive — you had to be on.

Results:

With a bit of skill and luck, Brent Jansen and Karen Evans took first place and the trophy.  

Second place: Steve and Jill Foster from Gordon Head  

Third place: Bawan and Anita Wah

A huge thank you to all the participants, and of course to Lake Hill for running a wonderful tournament. Special thanks to the kitchen staff for the amazing snacks, the umpires, and to Shane McRae — who rolls the greens like Mario Andretti.
