Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club is now over 65 years old. The costs associated with the operation of the club and maintenance and repairs increase every year. Each year our club experiences financial pressures resulting in some purchases and repairs being put to the side given the cost. Your Executive endeavours to keep all aspects of the club in optimal condition at all times, and thereby provide excellent experiences for all club members. Your Executive would like members to consider two methods in which you can assist our club.

Legacy Gifts

Gifts through wills, known as Legacy Gifts,will help the Club build a healthy capital reserve, which is crucial to purchasing new equipment when it is needed, funding capital improvements, and expanding the Club’s capacity to continue to operate and provide programs for members of all ages.

Financial Donations

Financial donations of any amount can be made at any time, and are both welcomed and appreciated. These donations can be forwarded to our Treasurer, and if you wish you can recommend what your donation could be used for. The Executive will ensure that you are recognized for your donation,or ensure that it remain anonymous if that is your preference. We hope that as part of the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club family you will consider making a legacy gift or financial donation to the Club. A ‘thank you, member’ recognition to be included on the club’s website.

BRONZE LEVEL –$1000 or Higher

A ‘thank you, member’ recognition to be included on the club’s website plus the member’s name added to a plaque permanently displayed inside Carnarvon House.

SILVER LEVEL –$5000 or Higher

A ‘thank you, member’ recognition to be included on the club’s website plus the member’s name added to a plaque permanently displayed inside Carnarvon House plus a one day bowling event named in their honour.

GOLD LEVEL –$10,000 or Higher
