The Jubilee Pairs BSI Tournament was held this past weekend June 7th and 8th at Oak Bay. Twenty six teams registered to play two 16 end game each day. OBLBC was well represented with seven teams . The weather was warm and sunny, but with an accessible water cooler and a misting station and our new sun shelters, participants were able to stay comfortable. 1st place was taken by the Robertson/Leaman team from JDF, 2nd place was Folka/Porter from CP, 3rd place was Slade/Gowda from Oak Bay and 4th place was Gardner/Smith from Gordon Head. Many thanks, to all our Oak Bay volunteers that made this tournament a success, without them our club would be unable to host this BSI tournament.
