The 2017 Miller Cup Mixed Triples drew a smaller number of entries than in the past. Nevertheless, some great bowling took place under ideal weather and greens that are becoming impressively fast. Thirty bowlers competed for prizes. It was particularly encouraging to see a novice, Mitch O’Brien, enter and contribute to his team’s success as second place finishers. Mitch has led the way; other novices are sure to follow, reminding old hands just how valuable these new members can be.
