The past three years, Qualicum Beach has hosted an indoor full-length Triples two bowl tournament with 10 end games being played. This tournament is sponsored by Vivian Sears Realty donating $500 towards the winners. Anyone on the island can enter. There were 16 teams playing a two tier round robin with final playoffs between the top players paying out 6 of the 16 teams. Tournament winners were Brent Jansen from Oak Bay, who played with Pete Smith, GHLBC and as a lead a local woman Nita Jack QBLBC
