The second annual BSI novice intermediate tournament took place on Saturday May 22 at our club.
Sixty participants from eight local clubs played four 10-end games. Throughout the day there were up to 40 spectators attending to help support their club members.
A BBQ lunch with all the trimmings was provided at the lunch break followed by ice cream and cake after the first game in the afternoon.
Oak Bay volunteers were out in full force setting up the rinks, collecting the registration fees, providing bar service, selling 50/50 tickets and BBQ’ing with a dedicated group of kitchen workers who had an incredibly busy day. Our hats go off to all of our volunteers who made the day such a success – thank you!
There were three random prize draws as well as prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
