Many thanks to Louise Mason, this year’s tournament manager for the Silver Tray tournament held at the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club on June 28th and 29th.  Twenty-eight teams of women played Scotch Pairs under bright sunny skies, and temperatures up to 27C – two very hot days on the greens!  Despite the heat, an excellent time was had by all.

The kitchen crew headed by Prim Wood and Jennifer Harley kept everyone fed and well hydrated.  The greens were prepared for play by Rod Armitage, Al Neumair and Jeff Machan.  Games, winners, scores, etc. were all well tended by Marg Machan and Lorraine Neumair.

It was nice to see Oak Bay members well represented in the list of winners.
