The Second Annual Summer Snake Showdown croquet tournament was played in ideal summer conditions on Saturday, June 18th.  A random draw was done to create the eight teams of two players that battled through three preliminary rounds to determine the finalists.  Mitch Fumalle and Kory Swain as well as the duo of Lorne Oakes and Nigel Brooks were the only undefeated teams after the preliminaries and met in the final with Lorne and Nigel winning by a 7-5 score to be crowned champions.  In the battle for third place it was Pierre Dunn and Norma McLelland defeating Donna Del Torre and Jim Cliff.
