On a dull and rainy Friday in October, seven OBLBC members joined together to thoroughly clean the club kitchen. In a few short hours the drawers and cupboards were emptied, cleaned, sanitized and reorganized. The fridges and stoves were cleaned, floors and walls washed. New signage was added for improved way finding. Counters were tidied to leave out only essential items in accordance Food Safe protocols under which our kitchen is licensed to operate.
Thanks to Jan Price, Mary Magill, Heather Rumble, Lori Anderson, Susan Buss and Carole Poirier. A number of duplicate or unneeded items were identified in the cleanup and were offered up to new homes; they disappeared fairly quickly. A good time was had by all.
