Canada Day Fundraiser a Fun Success!

 

The results are in from our fun day of fundraising on Canada Day. All told the club has raised $7,265 for the CHAMPS program. This included $1000 donations from each of Tony Tucker’s Pharmasave on Oak Bay Avenue and Matt MacNeil of the Penny Farthing also on Oak Bay Avenue.  These two businesses also donated prizes. 

 

We also had very generous prize donations from the Prince of Whales whale watching company, City Pets at Hillside and Shakespeare, Carlton House on Oak Bay Avenue, The Four Mile Pub in View Royal, Serena’s Pizzeria and Hoagies on Fort Street, the Harbourcats baseball club, and our own Bob Austin who contributed two pieces of his woodworking craftmanship. These donations helped generate some of the donations from our members and added to the fun and excitement of the day.
