As many of you know Carnarvon House was broken into in April of 2018 and then again in November of 2018. Thanks to one of our neighbours notifying the police during the November break-in the Oak Bay police arrested a female while her male partner evaded capture. Garry Anderson and Brent Merchant were subsequently subpeoned to the females court case a few months ago. The female had been released on bail after her arrest but did not attend the court hearing.so an arrest warrant was issued. Yesterday the Oak bay Police contacted Brent Merchant and informed him that the female was arrested and recently went to court. She was found guilt of possessing B & E tools and sentenced to 7 days custody, found guilty of not attending her past court date and given 14 days custody and her period of incarceration will be followed by one year of probation.  The wheels of justice can be slow but it is satisfying to know that it has prevailed with these court decisions.
