It was a pleasure to host this tournament now in its 48th year after a lapse of two years.
Sixteen women’s teams participated in this two-day scotch pairs tournament.
Everyone enjoyed getting together and renewing friendships and of course the competitive bowling.
The tournament was won by the Oak Bay team of Linda Cowie and Mary Forster; in second place was the Juan De Fuca team of Cherlynn McArthur and Shannon Baggett.
Trivia information: this tournament was won 24 years ago by Linda Cowie in her first year at the club.
