Sunny and warmer Victoria days are in the forecast. The bowling greens are being groomed to perfection for our April 1st opening. Many of our 2020 members have renewed as 2021/2022 Club members. They are eager to have the opportunity to yack and laugh with you on the lawns.
If you have not done so yet, we would like to encourage you to sign up for a great new year of lawn bowling and the opportunity to try out our new offering – croquet. Don’t miss out on being one of the early group to get your introduction to croquet training which is projected to commence in early April.
The vaccination programs have begun and we expect that many of our members will have had at least their first shot by the end of April or early May. For all Club activities, we will be following a safety protocol for at least the first 60 days – including masks, social distancing, safety monitors and a daily health questionnaire.
In order to keep our Club in a sound financial position, your support and renewed membership is needed and would be greatly appreciated. You can use the partially completed membership link which was sent out to you a few weeks ago or can simply go to the Club website and use the 2021-2022 renewal link. If you recently tried to renew and had problems, we believe the earlier glitches have been resolved. If you are uncomfortable in completing your registration on-line or are having difficulties and need help, please phone our registration committee chairperson – Sheila McCall at 250-721-4078. She will be happy to help you complete the registration form.
