Ray awarded third place
Congratulations to Ray Dilba who came in third place in the BSI Men’s Novice Singles tournament held at Gordon Head Lawn Bowling Club September 4.
There were 10 novice first-year bowlers from different clubs playing off for the trophy. Ray earlier won our own internal Men’s Novices competition and so represented our club at the BSI tournament.
The Gordon Head Club held a wonderful tournament which consisted of a five-game round robin. Ray won three out of five games, which earned him the right to play in the final game playoffs.
