It’s Thrifty’s Smile Card fundraising time again! Here’s a reminder of how the program works. Thrifty’s donates a certain percentage back to the Club according to the total amount loaded onto the cards, e.g.
$10 – $999 0%
$1000 – $1499 2%
$1500 – $3999 4%
$4000 + 6% This is our objective!
The Club orders the cards for you, which means you need to pay for them in advance. If you wish to participate, let me know by email marymagill22@gmail.com how many cards you want and in what denomination, e.g.
2 x $50
3 x $100
1 x $200
4 x $500
Payment should be made by cheque payable to Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club, or etransfer to funds@bowlsoakbay.ca. Put cheques in the the Club’s internal mailbox at the end of the bar in Carnavon House. I will place our order on SEP 25TH, so please make your payment by SEP 23RD.
This will give you time to get your Thanksgiving shopping done early—or even save some for Christmas gifts!!
