Slow start to the morning as Jaymee is the only one of the team bowling today and that isn’t until 11:45 at Broadbeach in the ladies singles knockout, her opponent is from South Africa. Jaymee is playing in the top 128 women out of 300 competitors.

The whole Canadian contingency are sporting the team shirt and sitting together on the sidelines ready to do the wave. Bucky and Poof (Team Mascots) were there also. It is overcast with sunny breaks, high of 13.

The game goes to 21 points, it was 18-13 for the opponent after 16 ends. Opponent was lying 2 with Jaymee holding third shot but opponent had hammer and used it wisely to earn the 3 points she needed for a win. Jaymee is finished for singles but she has achieved her 2 goals: not to panic when bowling and to get to double digits in her games. As a bonus she made it to the knockout round.

We headed for home so mom could have a nap because I have caught the team’s sinus cold that is going through the house.

The 4 BC youngsters went to Surfers Paradise for shopping, dinner and an evening of arcade games. They arrived back just before Merlin was over and Jaymee had bought me a gorgeous opal necklace. Talked about their adventures then the Momager went to bed as the throat is extremely sore (must be from cheering at the game we were a bit noisy).
