Campbell Cup
The Campbell Cup ladies’ league finished off on September 5 with a scrumptious luncheon. It was a fun and successful event attended by 33 members. Many went home with some great gifts that were generously donated by participating members. It wasn’t a lucky draw, but a game of elimination using playing cards to see who got to keep their gifts. Apparently, this game has been affectionately named “Lorraine’s Special Card Game”, and it’s something to look forward to at the end of the league! One has to be present to appreciate the fun in winning. So, don’t hesitate to join the Ladies League next season!
A big THANK YOU goes out to Betty Emery, Jennifer Letkeman and Diane Downing for organizing the league followed by the tea delight every Friday for the past three and a half months! As well, for the splendid luncheon, and to Lorraine Neumair for the enjoyable elimination game!
Cheers, Mary
