While at the club today taking a few photos to record the ongoing progress of the Anderson House Expansion Project, I had an opportunity to meet Ken Breuker, owner of Oak Bay Construction Ltd. Ken was able to provide a brief update on the project and mentioned that later in the day they would be pouring concrete. Sure enough in the afternoon a large truck arrived filling many wheelbarrows which kept Ken and his crew busy. All the while a few bowlers looked on as they enjoyed what might be one of the last good days for the outdoor lawn bowling season.
