Short Mat Tournament Jan 2017
The Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club ran a members short mat tournament in a triples format. Six teams of three players played in a round robin format, each team playing five, seven end games. The matches started at 8:30 am and finished at 5 pm. Everybody had a good time, but quite exhausted at the end of the day. The close competition went down to the last game, the final results was a three way tie with three teams having a result of 4 wins and 1 loss. The final positions were determined by a point count!
