It has been a busy week for Oak bay Lawn Bowlers this past week, with  many winners from our club.

On Tuesday and Wednesday the Anne Webster Ladies Triples Tournament was held at the Lake Hill Lawn Bowling Club.

“A” Division
– 1st – Betty Walker, Louise Mason, and Marcia Thorneycroft
– 4th – Donna Blackstock, Marg Machan and Sylvia Sinclair

“B” Division Play Offs
– Linda Cowie, Mary Forster, and Jo Ann Edquist

“C” Division
– 1st – Kay Alexander, Jennifer Letkeman, and Karen Evans

“C” Division Play Offs
– Sandy Coupe, Betty Emery, and Diane Downing

On Thurs. the Adshead Tournament (for bowlers over the age of 80 yrs.) was held at the CP Lawn Bowling Club.

1st – Jim Brown, Marion Woiblet, and Fern Price
2nd – Hal Yardley, Gerry Emery and Betty Emery
