Another successful Barry Skinner Memorial Open Mixed Pairs finished on Wednesday, May 31st, following three days/evenings of one 16 end game per day. A total of 24 teams entered including four from Oak Bay. Prize monies were awarded to seven teams and all four Oak Bay teams finished in the prizes.
Tournament manager Glen Taylor presented the trophy to the winning team of Brent Jansen (skip) and Bobbi Charlton. Due to the two flight format not all teams were available for the presentation photos. This included the team of John Cossom (skip) and Donna Blackstock who finished first of the two game high winners.
