Although no eligible novice women were available from Oak Bay to compete in the BSI Novice Women’s Singles Tournament at Cowichan LBC, there was plenty of action at Burnside LBC on the Men’s side. Oak Bay was well represented by Charles Wansbrough (OBLBC Novice Champ) and Dino Valeri (OBLBC Novice runner-up). The tournament included two players each from Cowichan, Juan de Fuca, Oak Bay, Sidney and Victoria LBC’s, with one player each from Canadian Pacific and Victoria West LBC’s

Unfortunately neither Charles nor Dino made it to the playoff round. They did however gain valuable experience at the competitive level and made new bowling friends along the way. Well done guys!
