Fourteen female bowlers with three years or less experience competed on Saturday September 7 at Burnside Lawn Bowling Club.

Bowlers were divided into three groups and then randomly scheduled into three games with different team mates from any of the competing clubs. They also played a different position in each game.

Individual scores were kept for each bowler based on their games won and the points scored in each game.

Malca Casiro and Deb Austin both won their sections, Lauren Charlton finished second in her section and Carolyn Rogers was third in her section.

In addition, Lisa Simonok, Jackie Mooney, Louise Demontigny and Heather Rumble all won random prizes.

Congratulations to our winners and to all who took part. You were outstanding ambassadors for our club! Thanks to Lindsay McLean and the Burnside Club for creating this opportunity for new bowlers.
