Donna gives the introduction to the bowling on Canada Day
Happy Canada Day!
Teams of bowlers who were born in Canada played social triples against those of us who chose to live in this wonderful country. Plenty of mixing went on, with nobody counting the score at the end. Twice during the day we had a “spider” bowl, which is always exciting—the winners getting small prizes. It’s not recorded who won these spiders; if anyone knows, send the results to me and I’ll update. The day, as always, ended with a great dinner.
