“The team of Brent Merchant (skip), Henriette Ballinger (vice) and Eric Ballinger (lead) won the B Event of the Cruise Holidays Mixed Triples. This North Zone tournament hosted by Nanaimo LBC enjoyed sponsorship which made for relatively lucrative prize monies. The tournament included teams from Courtenay, Port Alberni, Qualicum Beach, Parksville, and Nanaimo, with Oak Bay being the only team from outside the North Zone.”
