It was raining and cold outside but the action was hot inside. Four members were enjoying a game of short mat bowling. The spacious bright surroundings of the newly renovated Anderson House allowed ample space for spectators to watch the many fine shots being played. To be fair, one bowl was seen to exit the mat while another mysteriously veered off course and into the wooden block. At press time the results of the game hadn’t been determined but it’s safe to say all four bowlers enjoyed the camaraderie playing this popular winter activity.
