More Bowls South Island success was enjoyed by Oak Bay teams at the Galleon Mixed Pairs hosted by Juan de Fuca LBC.
It was a well run tournament thanks to a large supporting cast, and was played on excellent greens. The Oak Bay team of Mort Nelson and Louise Mason finished atop the large field of 42 teams. Taking second place was the team of John Cossom and Donna Blackstock. Congratulations to both teams.
Congratulations also to Brent and Susi Merchant who scored a perfect end in their final game of the tournament.
