The Lakehill Lawn Bowling Club did an excellent job of organizing and hosting the Dogwood tournament on July 10, 11, and 12.

Thirty-two teams of pairs entered requiring 16 teams playing at 2pm on Monday and Tuesday and the remaining 16 teams at 6pm. The top four teams from the 2pm draw and the top four teams from the 6pm draw returned on Wednesday evening for the finals.

Oak Bay LBC was well represented by no fewer than six stellar teams: Ian & Diane McMorran, Mitch O’Brien & Bobbi-Jean Charlton, Brent Jansen & Karen Evans, Gopal Gowda & Tanis Ranger, Ray Dilba & Donna Blackstock and Brent Merchant & Karen Heagle.

The three Oak Bay teams that made it to the finals on Wednesday were Mitch & Bobbi-Jean, Ray & Donna and Brent M & Karen. The final results were:
4th Place: Shaen McRae & Anita Wah from Lake Hill
3rd Place: Ray Dilba & Donna Blackstock from Oak Bay
2nd Place: Brent Merchant & Karen Heagle from Oak Bay
1st Place: Jay Huang & Angela Tessaro from Gordon Head
