This year a number of local businesses donated draw prizes for people that attended Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club’s Open Houses on March 25 and April 22. Those businesses were:

• The Penny Farthing Neighbourhood Pub
• Vis à Vis bouchon-bar
• The Village Butcher
• Pharmasave on Oak Bay Ave

These businesses were extremely generous with their gift certificates and products. How can we thank sponsors that help our club? Next time you are out shopping and need a tasty meat product for supper, or would like a pleasant drink and a nice dinner, or you need an item from the pharmacy, perhaps you could support these businesses who were so kind in providing us with the prizes for our open houses. You might even consider thanking the staff and mentioning to them that our club appreciated their donations.
