John Dolman, club handyman extraordinaire, was the subject of an earlier news item after a Google mapping vehicle spotted him leaving the club with a large piece of plastic, used to make holders for two club tablet computers.

When John was asked if he would take on the challenge of designing and manufacturing another item for the club, his response was immediate and positive. This time using donated materials he built a raffle ticket drum for the numerous prize draws we hold at the club. Many eyes will be fixed on this piece of plastic as we wait to see if our ticket number is drawn.

Now if only John could build us a magic eight ball. Wait! Better be careful about suggesting that to him. 🙂
