Jaymee Sidel has been invited to play for Canada in the 2016 North American Challenge.
The North American Challenge (NAC) is a bowls match-up between Canada and the United States. For 2016, the event will be held from September 29th to October 1st at the Pacific Indoor Bowls Club in Vancouver. The NAC is played bi-annually in even years with locations alternating between the US and Canada.
First held in 1995, the tournament is sanctioned by World Bowls as an international event. Jaymee will play as a member of Team Folkins in the second position for the triples and third position for the fours.
More information about the North American Challenge may be found on the home page of the Bowls Canada Boulingrin website at www.bowlscanada.com and the Bowls USA website at www.bowlsusa.us.
Jaymee has a long list of accomplishments as a junior at both the national and international level. She has been a credit to our club and the sport of bowls. We are proud to have this talented young bowler as a member of the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club. Best wishes Jaymee as you prepare for your next (North American) challenge.
