Monday September 3 saw 59 bowlers participate in our last major club competition of the outdoor season. A number of members worked in various support tasks while others came to take advantage of the fine weather and enjoy watching the games. The last bowler had barely left the green when greenskeeper John Correia began cutting in preparation for the BSI Oak Bay Women’s Triples tournament which begins tomorrow evening.
Our Labour Day Quaddie was followed by a delicious Greek themed dinner organized by our dinner committee and provided by Food For Thought catering. Good bowling, good food and good friends made for a great wind-up event.
