Some lucky members of the club left for a three-week tour of New Zealand on February 20. The tour was first proposed by Don Clark who worked for two years to make it a reality, even after he moved to the UK late last year. They are probably having a good time, but so far have been remarkably silent about their progress. “Oak Bay Base to Tour Group . . . Oak Bay Base to Tour Group . . . please report your whereabouts and bowling successes (if any.) . . . Over.”
