A report from Barrie and Anne Bolton
Hi fellow bowlers
We just woke up from a long winter’s night nap. The chickadees are chickadee-ing and the lake, sky, and trees, blue and white with frost. Another couple logs on the fire, and we are set to enjoy the bright sun, warm house, the tennis from London. We hope all is well in Victoria, and are looking forward to a couple weeks visit over Christmas. As you can see, no snow yet, skiing will have to wait, but if the lake hurries up and freezes, some ice skating. The goings on at the club sound fun, and we hope to take advantage of some things while we are down. The Remembrance Day services were very moving, both here and on the TV coverage.. The “poppy fields” around the Tower of London are amazing, and the concept of selling them afterwards to raise funds for vets is great. See you in December.
