Joan Roberts reports from New Zealand…
We have bowled at four bowling clubs so far, three on the North Island and one on the South. All the clubs have been so friendly and welcoming; we have had a wonderful time. The greens are much faster than ours. Yesterday at Mornington http://www.morningtonbowlingclub.co.nz/ in Dunedin was a carpet surface. They have all been quite a challenge, but an enjoyable one. Tomorrow we bowl here in Queenstown. Our hotel is situated on the lake and we are enjoying beautiful warm sunshine. Hope that you are out of the snow belt now.
