Report by Donna Blackstock

Two Oak Bay teams took part in this tournament. Each team was required to have a woman skip and a bowler with 3 years or less experience. The team of Donna Blackstock, Brent Jansen and Ray Dilba finished with 5 wins after 5 matches on a very warm weekend July 15/16.

To complete the tournament, the top two teams then go head to head in a championship game. Donna, Brent and Ray also won the final against a team from Gordon Head LBC. Congratulations!

The second OB team had Mary Forster, Lorne Cowley and Doug Francis. It is great to see new faces in inter-club competition. Well done Oak Bay!
