The weather was as warm as the hospitality extended by members of Central Saanich LBC to 27 Oak Bay members who ventured north on Monday, July 31st to enjoy two games of bowls with lunch in between. It was an excellent opportunity to make new friends, and for first time visitors in particular, to check out the facilities and operation of another Bowls South Island club. Exchange visits are always something to look forward to and for these visits the old adage, the more the merrier, certainly holds true.
