Tuesday, 22 August provided another opportunity to show off our sport and club. On this occasion we welcomed a group of employees from Peloton Technologies along with their spouses. Visit coordinators were Allison Betton for Peloton and Marcia Wood for Oak Bay LBC. After some introductory explanation, play got underway. As with students visiting from local schools, these visitors quickly grasped the nuances of rolling a bowl close to the jack. A former club member and sage once remarked “there is one bowl in every game that brings you back another day“. Let’s hope this will hold true for our guests.
