Oak Bay LBC hosted the 2019 provincial Pro-Am Champ of Champs Open Pairs tournament. The event drew 16 teams from throughout the province, taking place 14 & 15 September.
The format required one player, the “Amateur” to have less than three years’ experience (began bowling in 2017 or later) while the “Professional” would have more than three years’ experience.
While the weather both days was overcast and somewhat cool there were plenty of “hot shots” to entertain those who came out to watch the play. Thanks to the organizers and a large team of helpers the tournament was a complete success.
